Unlike traditional clip frames that demand level ground, our Nomad marquees embrace the natural lay of the land. Engineered for adaptability, they offer a cost-effective alternative to Tipi marquees, allowing multiple configurations and ensuring your event is as distinctive as the surrounding environment.

OUR PROCESS

  • Browse our products and create your wishlist - this gives us a great indication of the overall style you’re looking for!

    There is also a section to note if you’re wanting a marquee.

    We will send a proposal for you to look through within 2 working days. Our proposals are valid for 14 days.

  • Let’s do this!

    We require a 30% non-refundable booking fee to confirm your proposal.

    You’ll receive access to the exclusive VIP area, and we are here for whatever you need!

  • We will be in touch to sort all details – from guest numbers, arrival dates and times, to any changes you may need, sort logistics and answer questions.


    Using Google Maps, we check marquee, catering marquee, generator, toilets and any other external items that need to be accounted for so we can be as accurate as possible and there are no surprises!


    We will then render your two floorplans – one for fine weather, and one for wet weather so you can be confident everything is covered no matter what the weather throws at you!

  • Your final invoice is due for payment.

    Any final logistics are smoothed out and we’re now on official countdown alongside you! Let’s do this!

  • Our team arrive on-site, walk out the area and begin the installation!


    For our Clear Marquees, we will be on-site all day, and for Nomad Marquees we will be on-site for half a day.


    Furniture is typically delivered the following day.

    We make this super easy, so if you are located on-site, we promise minimal disruption.

FAQ

  • We recommend booking in your marquee 18-12 months in advance, especially if you are booking for peak season between November-March. If you are unsure about furniture at that time of your planning but know you want a marquee, then we recommend booking in your marquee (so you don’t miss out!) and we can discuss your furniture and styling needs a little further down the track.

  • For a marquee quote, all we need is your proposed date, location, and approximate guest numbers.

    If you are after furniture and styling as well then please include the above information along with specific quantities and the product name you are after, or book in a consult with one of our experienced team to thoroughly go through the details of your special day or event.

  • Yes, we travel all over the South Island!
    Some of our favourite locations are Kaikōura, Akaroa and the Bays and Oamaru.

  • Pricing only includes hire of the Marquee. Delivery, installation and packdown are additional. This varies depending on location and complexity of the site.

  • Our Clear marquees require a fairly even ground.

    Our Nomad marquees can be installed on uneven ground and are much more versatile for different terrain.

  • Possibly yes.

    Where a consent is required, we can apply for this on your behalf.

  • The size of your marquee depends on your number of guests and furniture requirements. Let us know how many guests you have and we can recommend what size marquee and put together a bespoke proposal for you including all of the furniture you would like.

  • Our clear marquees can go on concrete not a problem, however our Nomad and Wanderer Stretch tents are pegged into the ground.


    Let us know where you are wanting a marquee and we can recommend the best type for your wedding or event

  • Our furniture and marquees are loaded in a truck and our stretch tents are loaded in a ute and trailer. We need space for these vehicles to either drive up to your site or get within 10m. Please let us know about access to your site location so we can discuss the best way for us to deliver and install your marquee and furniture.

  • Yes, absolutely we can! If you choose our set up and packdown service to place and style your furniture, then this is additional to your delivery and collection fee. Please let us know if you would like this and we can get you booked in for a consult to go over all the details!

    If you have not included setup as part of your booking, then the team will leave all your furniture in a safe spot in your marquee or venue.

  • Your delivery and collection service includes picking your order, loading at our warehouse and unloading on site, driving to and from your location, fuel and on-road charges as well as all of our baseline costs. These baseline costs include use of our vehicles, maintenance, and insurance costs.

  • Once on-site, our team will be there for approx 4-8 hours depending on the size and complexity of the site. There will be 4-5 team members on-site for this duration.
