The Tai Tapu Hotel Function room is a purpose built standalone function room- built on the old stables site. The function room opens out onto a stunning private patio and grassed area which is exclusive to you for your party. It is beautifully landscaped overlooking the picturesque Tai Tapu Golf Club and Halswell River. Everything they do is for you, from their Chefs who create beautiful dishes to their staff who love to serve you. It's where you go for your picturesque, private function.

Whispering Oaks- The Fun Team
A purpose built party barn is the perfect indoor venue for your mini’s birthday party and plenty of outdoor space to create a celebration so special. Venue hire includes ponies rides, animal feeding, bouncy castles and table + chairs. All you need to bring is your own catering and decorations to style to your party theme- what more could you possibly need!

Time: 3 hours of partying (additional $75 per hour)

Harewood Playcentre
Harewood Playcentre is a large self contained hall big enough for an inside bouncy castle perfect for a party rain or shine! Facilities include a fully equipt kitchen, use of their tables + chairs and an onsite fully fenced playground- get ready to decorate and celebrate!
Price: All day hire $100 or half day $60
Time: Half day hire are 9am-12pm, 1pm-4:30pm or full day hire 9am- 4:30pm

Mt Pleasant Community Centre
The Mt Pleasant Community Centre can be the perfect spot for your birthday and parties. With a view over the water, ample free parking and several flexible spaces to choose from you are spoilt for choice! Bring your own food drink, and decorate until your hearts content!

The much loved St Albans Community Centre is the ultimate central event venue with a large kitchen for all your food prep. Facility has car parks, close to local shops for the last minute dash for the forgotten items and a beautifully sleek, warm interior to suit any birthday party theme.

Te Hāpua: Halswell Centre

Ascot Hub
The Hub is warm and accessible with plenty of off street parking making it an ideal location for kids birthday parties- a patio area outside and close to the playground in the reserve. Venue hire includes chairs, tables and use of the kitchen facilities. Bouncy castles can be set up outdoors on the lawn but not inside the building.
